This is our very first short film!

 

We’ve been friends, collaborators and supporters of each other’s work for years, and one day we decided—before the year ended—we had to make a short film. Lucky for us, we had access to an empty house in Fennville, Michigan, so the stage was set and we just went for it.

 

Our idea? A recently separated couple, both passionate animal rescue volunteers, who have to meet one last time to save a sick cat together.

 

We shot the whole thing in a single weekend.

On Saturday, it was fall.

By Sunday? Winter!

Ah, Michigan weather, you keep us on our toes.

 

With an amazing crew, we made it all come together.

 

Now, we're thrilled to be sharing MISSES PICKLES with audiences at film festivals!
